Anil Kaul - CEO and Co-founder

Anil Kaul is a prominent figure in the field of Analytics and Market Research, with over 16 years of experience in marketing, strategic consulting and quantitative modeling. Anil is a PhD in Marketing from Cornell University. He gained valuable experience in consulting with over 20 Fortune 500 companies during the 4 years he spent with McKinsey & Co. in New York and Chicago. Thereafter he joined Anubis Inc., an innovative data warehousing start-up in San Francisco bay area, as a part of the four-member top management team. Anil led the repositioning of Anubis from a pure technology play to an e-marketing analysis company by developing a cutting-edge e-analysis software product.

He has published many articles in leading management and academic journals such as McKinsey Quarterly, Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research and International Journal of Research in Marketing. One of his papers was nominated for “Paul Green Award” by the American Marketing Association. He has also addressed many gatherings at McKinsey & Co., Dartmouth College, Cornell University, Yale University, Columbia University and New York University.

In addition to providing overall leadership to AbsolutData Research and Analytics, Anil is also engaged across our client community.

Sudeshna Datta - Executive Vice President and Co-founder

Sudeshna is a member of the executive management team at AbsolutData and leads the Corporate Development, Human Resources and Marketing functions.

Sudeshna brings with her, over a decade of experience in general management and marketing. Sudeshna has earned her MBA in marketing from Cornell University. In the past, she has held prestigious roles as a Business Development Manager at Pfizer, New York, and Brand Manager at Kraft Foods, Chicago. At Kraft Foods, she led multiple large cross-functional teams to deliver substantial volume and profits and was responsible for more than $150 million in P&L. She also led the development and implementation of a turnaround strategy for a core brand for the Oscar Mayer division at Kraft Foods that involved process re-engineering, extensive market research and data analysis.

Suhale Kapoor - Executive Vice President and Co-founder

Suhale is a member of the executive management team at AbsolutData, currently involved across functions including Finance, Technology and Business Development. He has been deeply involved in building the India operations from a startup to its existing state as a robust delivery center for AbsolutData’s global clients across analytics and research.

Suhale has about 17 years of experience in operations, marketing, logistics and information management systems. Prior to co-founding AbsolutData, he spent 5 years with Mitsubishi Corporation in international trade, investments and reengineering, and is an alumnus of the Mitsubishi President’s Global Leadership Program. He holds an MBA from India’s premier business school - Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Delhi University.

Sundar Ramaswamy - Chief Operating Officer

Sundar Ramaswamy has close to 15 years of experience across consulting, off-shoring and outsourcing. Prior to joining AbsolutData, he led the Global Analytics capability at McKinsey and Company. In the six years at McKinsey, he set up the operations in Chennai and Poland and built analytics capabilities in the areas of Marketing, Risk and Operations. Prior to McKinsey, he spent close to 7 years at Accenture as a consultant, helping clients on operations transformation studies, executing their e-commerce strategies and helping Accenture set up their domestic technology outsourcing services. Sundar completed his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Delhi and is a gold medalist in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Abishek Sawhny - Chief Financial Officer

Abishek Sawhny has over 20 years of work experience across consulting and industry in England, India and US. His experience ranges from strategy consulting, cross border company purchase and sales, diligence, funding, ERP, tax and audit. He was CEO of Tensys, USA, CFO at RMS, and has worked at Arthur Andersen, Tilda, TeamCube, Wagner & Partners, Morgan Brown & Spofforth. He is a Chartered Accountant from England, did Economics from Loyola College, Chennai and completed his schooling from The Doon School, Dehradun.

Rahul Monie - Chief Technology Officer

Rahul Monie has 22 years of experience across IT business solutions, ERP, data center services, product development, etc. He has successfully run technology start-ups and managed P&L's in large organisations. He was Director Engineering at Firstrain, a US based leading provider of search-driven research applications. Prior to that he was at Comsat Max involved with Design, Network Security, Enterprise Data Centres for managed IT infrastructure and outsourcing services. He was at Microsoft Consulting Services leading North & East India branches and before that leading technology at The British Council for SAARC region. He completed his Diploma in Computer Studies from National Computing Center and did his schooling from the Air Force School.

Jim Lord - Senior Vice President, Client Services

Jim has 23 years of marketing experience with consumer packaged goods companies, primarily at Kraft Foods. He has led and consistently grown both consumer and B2B businesses, including ones larger than $700 Million. In addition to his leadership roles, Jim has held positions that have enabled him to develop skills in Joint venture formation/ business divestitures, Brand development and repositioning, Long and short range planning, New product development, and International business building.
Jim earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business where he graduated “With Distinction” and graduated with high honors from the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he earned his BA.

Chris Diener - Senior Vice President, Analytics

Chris Diener is Senior Vice President, Analytics at Absolutdata, a data analytics services provider. Chris has 20 years of experience in advanced analytics and marketing strategy consulting. He leads in the innovation and delivery of predictive analytics solutions based on big and “small” data. As part of his role he heads up the Big Data practice and several analytics centers of excellence at AbsolutData. He is a thought leader in marketing science and data science as a well known presenter, author and teacher. He has worked extensively with clients across industries with concentrations in CPG, retail, financial services, hospitality, pharma, healthcare and technology. He has worked with consulting groups like Bain, BCG and others. Prior to joining Absolutdata, Chris founded an advanced analytics firm which grew until being sold to Omnicom and has held other senior and executive positions in the industry. He holds PhD, MBA and JD degree.

Kulpreet Singh - Senior Vice President

Kulpreet joined AbsolutData in 2013 as the Senior Vice President and currently heads the EMEA region, based in London. He’s a passionate advocate of leveraging global delivery model in Analytics to create significant and sustainable value for clients. He has over 20 years of global experience which includes Consumer Electronics, Consulting, BPO and Analytics. Kulpreet’s last role was as Head of UK & Europe and Global Head of Utilities for EXL Service (a NASDAQ listed firm), where he set up EXL’s UK & European business from scratch and built it into a $100m p.a. turnover. He has lived in India, Switzerland, Turkey and Dubai before moving to the UK. Kulpreet did his Bachelors in Mathematics followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad, India. In 1999 he completed his MBA from IMD – Lausanne, Switzerland.

Laura Wheeler DeYonker - Vice President, Client Services

Laura Wheeler DeYonker is a Vice President of Client Service. She brings over 15 years of experience spanning both consulting (with McKinsey &Co.) and industry (as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Ross Stores). Through her experience at McKinsey she gained a strong foundation in analytics/problem solving and client service and through her experience at Ross she developedexecutional experience. While at Ross, Laura led the company’s micro-merchandising initiative, a strategic project to build sophisticated forecasting models into the retail planning process and she was responsible for all of the company’ customer research. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
